BoardCalc is a board-foot and lumber calculator app. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.
We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how the app is used and to improve it. Firebase Analytics may collect device and app identifiers, including your device's advertising ID, and usage events. This data is processed by Google on our behalf and is not linked to your name or any account, because BoardCalc has no accounts. You can opt out of advertising-ID-based tracking in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
The Pro upgrade (a one-time purchase) is processed by Google Play Billing via RevenueCat. We do not see or store your payment details — Google and RevenueCat handle the transaction, and we only receive confirmation that the purchase was completed.
Your lumber projects, line items, and species price book are stored only locally on your device — no cloud sync, no account, no server. Uninstalling the app deletes that data with it. Sharing or exporting a project (text, CSV, PDF) happens only when you explicitly tap Share/Export, using your device's own share sheet.
BoardCalc has no ads and no ad SDKs.
BoardCalc is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We don't operate any backend or accounts, so there is no server-side copy of your project data to delete — uninstalling the app removes everything stored locally. Analytics events sent to Firebase are retained by Google per Firebase's standard retention settings.
We may update this policy as the app evolves; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
